Once upon a time there was a beautiful boat, elegant lines, a lovely mover with two big outboards that made her really stand out from the flotilla. But she was very sad, she could not get Permently hitched up. There were a few casual connections then she would be left alone again.The committee thought long and hard about the problem and then asked Tom and Bob if they could help. They decided that it would have to be good looking with a big engine and plenty of staying power. Many canditates applied but only one was good enough, Nissan patrol, not too young, 2005, in very good physical condition.They will be hitched next week, as soon as Nissan has new rubber fitted. Best wishes to them both and hope they have many happy miles together.

The Wexford sub aqua club was celebrating their 40^th birthday at the week end, with a few drinks, finger food, speech and a slide show of pictures from the good old times to nowdays. The atmosphere was great with representatives of lots of clubs, Waterford, the Hook, Kilkenny, National, Aughinish and the CFT National Diving Officer.

The bad sea conditions were blamed for cancelling the dive on Sunday.

The 2nd of October is quite late in the diving season but the sea was flat calm and there was enough interest to organise Sunday dives. The inter-university week end was taking place in Kilkee at the week end and the car park was buzzing with divers. From our own club we had an excellent turn out with 9 members and 2 guests. Bob was back from China, and Tomas finally made it back in the water and behind the weel, all on the day of his birthday.
